The newly developed platform by Mady at Landscape makes learning about finance much more relatable and fun.

The digital bank — NuBank — launched its first financial education platform in partnership with the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3). To ensure that the platform reflected the fintech customers and its vision for the future, the program was carefully designed and tested by experts at Mady, a production company that is part of the Landscape ecosystem. As a result, NuEnsina is the outcome of the desire to evolve through creative methodologies.


Finance can be a tricky subject if not well understood. From the beginning, Mady rearranged methods that could connect and communicate with NuBank clients in order to find the best content solution. They narrowed it down to two paths:  either shorter videos like TikTok, or extended versions such as TED Talks. After a long process of analysing online performance, polishing the navigation system, as well as improving language adaptations for screenwriting, they found the best version to launch. The seven-days shooting content came out as 56 videos teaching how to invest. 


The Mady production team focused on the challenges of learning to guide better decisions. This means that the content included essays, videos, quick tests, audio practices and much more, in order to communicate with millions of people. Besides, this kind of variations shows that understanding difficult concepts can also be fun. Landscape was a solid structure that provided Mady production the ability to develop the whole creative process, including scripts created by Haze, a sister company also part of ecosystem.


By the end of the program, the clients who completed all the assignments would get a certificate by NuBank and B3 that testifies they are qualified for investments. Furthermore, Nu special members and stake holders were offered an advanced education program that would teach them how to manage the growth of their BDR (Brazilian depositary receipt) on the IPO provided by the bank at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). But overall, to understand that different levels of learning required significant responsibility and tools, is the reason why Nu invested in the Mady team alongside Landscape.
